Take the A2 freeway (Basel-Gotthard). Leave the highway at the exit Stans-Süd. Then a main road, which is open all year round, leads to Engelberg. From Stans the journey takes about 20 min. You do not need to leave this road. It leads directly to Engelberg.

International connections will bring you to Lucerne. Here you change to the Zentralbahn, which takes you to Engelberg in 1 hour.
